Dance Party Friday

Good Morning. St. Clare Friends!

Well it's another sunny day with a warm weekend forecast of double digits! So get outside and breathe some fresh air and move your body while maintaining social distancing!

To kick off the weekend let's celebrate with a dance party as we wrap up our first week of Google Classroom and settle into a new way of life with school from home!

Dancing is a great way to get your heart pumping 💓 and muscles moving  💪!!

Some resources to kick off your dance party:

1)PL3Y Kids Fitness
   - You can join this through facebook page
   - Free daily kids dance and yoga classes featuring certified instructor
   - 3 live streams daily (10 am, 3 pm, 7 pm)

2) BOKS at home workout
    - You can join this through facebook page
    - Friday at noon dance party with CiCi

3) Go Noodle website or App
    - website or App that several classroom teachers use for movement breaks in the classroom
    - personal favorite: "Pop See Ko 2.0"

4) You Tube Kidz Bop Daily Dance Along
     - all songs are "kid approved"
     - my kids listen to this music all the time as well, I use these popular radio favorites for my
grade 3 and up PE as I don't have to worry about questionable content or inappropriate language

5) Get Creative on Your Own
   - Play your family's favorite song and complete your own favorite dance moves!
   - Or use some of the dance moves in 15 second intervals we used during of PE Dance Unit ...
      - lawn mower
      - sprinkler
      - shopping cart
      - changing light bulbs
      - flossing
      - disco dancing

💃  GET CREATIVE! HAVE FUN! MOVE YOUR BODY! LAUGH OUT LOUD!   ðŸ’ƒ

Stay Active! Stay Strong! Stay Positive!

Kind Regards,
Sherri Anwender
